The Venture games section is meant to feel like a small arcade attached to a larger community space. Most people arrive here from rooms or DMs, play a quick round, and then drift back into conversation. That’s why the focus is on simple, instantly recognizable games that load quickly and run in a browser, instead of giant downloads or complicated launches.
Some games are purely nostalgic — endless runners, rhythm games, tiny platformers — while others are more experimental or story-driven. Together, they’re meant to offer a mix of “mindless tapping” and “actually pretty fun if you stick with it for a few levels.” Whether you’re killing time between messages or decompressing after a long day, the goal is to give you a low-friction way to reset your brain for a few minutes.

How we pick and organize games
Games on Venture are grouped by loose categories like platformers, runners, rhythm, horror, or simulators. Those labels are there to help you quickly guess the vibe of a game before you click into it. Over time, we try to keep a balance between light, arcade-style games and slightly deeper experiences that reward coming back more than once.
- Browser-friendly first. Games should work with a normal keyboard and mouse and load inside an iframe.
- Quick to understand. Most controls are explained on the start screen or can be figured out in under a minute.
- Reasonable performance. We favor games that feel smooth on school laptops, older machines, and Wi-Fi that isn’t perfect.
- Replay value. High scores, levels, or unlocks are a bonus, but not required for every title.
As new games are added, older or broken links may be retired so that the grid stays usable rather than turning into a giant uncurated list. If something stops working, it’s usually because the source changed or we swapped it out for a more reliable version.
